The Roostertales Bass Club had its second tourney of the year on Saturday 2/13. Water temps were around 52 degrees. Fishing was generally tough but as always, some of the guys figured it out. Seventeen teams fished. Four teams weighed limits.
Congratulations to our money winners- paid to 4 places:
1st Gause and Corina $527 Big Fish- $320
2nd Jensen and Chubbuck $374
3rd Petersen and Zahn $255
4th Martin and Martin $170
2nd Big Fish- Grubbs and Hoffman $119
Big fish was 5.8 pounds with second big fish at 4.05.
Fish were caught on various presentations including jerk bait, dropshot, and crankbaits.
Our next tournament is on Lake Havasu on March 26. This is a great time as we get a block of rooms at a local hotel and take over the parking lot. Our meeting before the tourney is on Monday March 21 at Bass Pro Shop 2nd floor conference room- 7 pm. Ask for Roostertales.
